Shop my Avon Store!

It was 2012, I was new in the country, unemployed, with a 9 month old to look after. Though my husband had a secure federal job but his income was just enough to provide us with the necessities. Always had this pressure to save for the future. Looking for ways to make some money online, sitting at home I came across Avon. I did not know what Avon was. All it said, just $10 to start your own business. $10 was not a lot, I could always leave if it was not my cup of tea, so I just thought to give it a try.

It’s been almost a year and a half now. This is my first blog of the business, and I haven’t quit yet. And I don’t plan to. I keep trying to find ways to bring freshness into my business. I made a lot of friends.

Yes, there are days I don’t feel good about it especially when I have to run after people to give me their orders on time, or days when I just don’t want to go out and distribute the brochures. Winters are the toughest when it gets dark at 4:30pm, but then there are ups and downs in everything you do every day. Not every day is alike. Last year I threw my first Avon party in October, this year I plan to throw it again in November. I plan to set up a fundraiser for a non profit and also set up a table at the local park where I take my kids once a week. This way I can meet new people, make new friends, relax and make some money too. All it takes to get business is to market yourself. I have 3 recruits under me and now I don’t have to worry about a lot of things. Most of my shopping is through Avon. I love Avon products, my husband is beginning to like them too and I get to spend money on myself and my kids without worrying about saving it.

Thanks Avon.
