A cyber club for online volunteers !

on April 15, 2014

We live in a cyber-world which is a growing global village, getting smaller with time and yet providing opportunities that were once unfathomable. Since the advent of computers in 1950s and the internet boom in mid 90s and then social networking like facebook in 2005, the cyber-world has become more compact and yet diverse. Through e-mail and instant messaging, online communities have been created. It is now possible to connect people who share interests and activities.

Online Volunteering

Everything is online nowadays. From e-books to online schools, news-reporting to online games, online shopping and even online dating and match-making! So why not an online club?

It is possible to run an online club, to connect and establish communication between committed individuals who are looking for opportunities to give back to their communities. It’s completely voluntary, no one gets paid, grants received are utilized in their respective projects, funds collected are given out as scholarships to high school graduates, everything is transparent, no one loses and children win!
